Joy Ellis is the founder and owner of Joylife Talent Development Group, a company that specializes in coaching people who are interested in building their skills to have optimal impact on and off the stage. She is a singer, actor, writer and performer who is passionate about helping others discover the light that truly separates the good from the GREAT. Joy believes that the gift of storytelling through singing, acting and writing is a powerful mechanism in shifting culture; she helps equip those who are willing with the tools to reimagine,shift and light up the world through the arts. Her desire for making a great impact on and off the stage lends to her love for influencing young ladies through a program called Dear Little Sister, which is geared to elevate, inspire and enhance real conversations between girls and women.

Joy will introduce students to acting methods and techniques used to play scenes authentically and dynamically. Basic acting techniques will be taught along with stage direction, text analysis, speech and movement.

Joy will guide beginners in the basics of being a vocal artist. This course covers the basics of singing, such as body awareness, correct breathing and technique, rhythm and stage presence.
